2019 Jaguar XF Prices, Reviews, and Pictures

The Jaguar XF luxury sedan is a midsize luxury sedan that’s designed for drivers who enjoy a relaxing and engaging driving experience. Jaguar introduced the Jaguar XF for the first time in 2009. The 2016 model was the first to introduce the second-generation XF.

The Jaguar XF is a large car but it feels smaller than the rest. The Jaguar XF’s aluminum structure and razor-sharp steering make it feel more like a car for drivers than a luxury cruiser. The suspension is also responsive and does a fantastic job at not transmitting bumps to passengers. For quick acceleration, the supercharged engine is powerful and pleasant to use.

Pricing and Trims

Jaguar offers the XF in four trim levels: Prestige, Premium, R-Sport, and S.

Premium features include a sunroof and 18-inch wheels.

The Cold Climate package includes a heated steering wheel and seats, as well as a windshield. Vision bundles front/rear parking sensors with automatic high beams and LED headlights. It also includes blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and blind spot monitoring.

The Prestige also includes 19-inch wheels, front/rear sensors, keyless entry/ignition and leather upholstery.

R-Sport features 19-inch wheels and adaptive LED headlights. The exterior and interior are sporty in design, and the sporty front seats reinforce the trim’s performance-oriented nature.

The S trim is the most expensive in the range. It comes with 20-inch wheels, adaptive dampers, suspension dampers, red brakes, red brake calipers and special exterior trim pieces.

The Premium model can also be ordered with the Comfort and Convenience option, which includes heated front seats, heated rear seats, and a power trunk.

The Technology package, available on all models except the Premium, adds hard-drive navigation, touchscreens, an LCD gauge cluster, and 17 speakers.

Customers who purchase the R-Sport and/or S can choose a Luxury Interior Upgrade Package, which includes a power back sunshade, manual side windows shades, four-zone automatic temperature control, multicolor ambient lighting, illuminated door sill plates, and multicolor climate control. Driver Assistance includes many technologies that prevent accidents. It also includes a self-parking system and surround-view cameras.

The XF comes with a $56,000 factory invoice for a Premium model, and an MSRP around $58,000. The vehicle’s MSRP will be increased by approximately $5,000 by adding the Prestige trim level. The R-Sport will add an additional $4,000. The MSRP is increased by $6,000 with the addition of the S trim level. Performance and Engine

The Jaguar XF only has one engine, a 3.0-liter V-6 supercharged. Except for the Jaguar XF, output is 340 horsepower. The S has a more tuned engine that produces 380 horsepower. The torque peak is 332 lb.ft. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the only transmission. All four trims have rear- or all-wheel drive.

The All-Surface Progress Control is standard equipment for those who live in areas where inclement weather can be a problem. This system helps to get the car moving in low-traction situations. The driver selects a speed, and the car applies power gradually to keep the tires from spinning.

The XF’s interior design is classic and clean, with a 2-tone scheme that is overwhelmingly elegant. Although the center stack contains a lot of physical switches, they are well-placed and evenly spaced so it is not as difficult to find the right one.

The interior space is excellent, and there’s plenty of room to accommodate taller adults at the rear. This is a remarkable feat, as the XF has a steep roof slope, but the longer wheelbase makes this possible. This also allows for plenty of legroom. With 19.1 cubic feet, the trunk is huge. It is possible to transport large or very long items by folding the seats down.

Although the InControl Touch infotainment software is better than previous iterations, it does not include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is a major oversight. It is simple enough to use, and the response times are quick. The graphics are also easy to read. The cluster of dynamic gauges is available to drivers, and it changes according to the selected drive mode.
