Performance and Engine
The Jaguar I-Pace’s all-electric powertrain is a major draw. This is something that you won’t find in many SUVs. The powertrain includes two permanent magnet synchronous electric engines, which are located in the rear and front axles. This setup generates 394 horsepower and 512 lb.ft. of torque. It is immediately available. The crossover’s standard all-wheel drive accelerates from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. This makes it more efficient than any other vehicle. A 90-kWh battery provides power to the electric motors. The motors are directly powered by the axles, so there is no need for transmission. This means that there is no shifting which aids in acceleration and deceleration. The SUV is very agile for its size, thanks to torque vectoring by braking.
Jaguar is known for creating luxurious interiors. The Jaguar I-Pace is no exception. The cabin is modern and stylish, as you would expect from such a vehicle. You can choose from a variety of color combinations, including Sienna Tan Windsor Leather with Ebony Accents, Light Oyster Windsor Leather and Ebony/Light Oyster Accents, Mars Red Windsor Leather with Ebony Accents, Ebony Windsor Leder with Ebony Accents, and Ebony Windsor with Ebony Accents. The many materials used in the space are high quality and the craftsmanship is exceptional. High levels of comfort are also available. The seats are well-padded with ample support in the back and bottom. Cabin insulation can block most wind and road noises at freeway speeds. The rear and front seats have plenty of legroom and headroom so that taller adults can ride wherever they please. You can also store your cargo for long journeys or shopping trips. The two screens control many features, but there are also physical controls within the cabin. These controls are modern and easy to find. Some of them are large and easy to find, but others can be difficult to find if you drive. The usability of the infotainment system has been average.
